PE'AH PANTRY
Over and over again, the Christian is commanded to care for the needy. This goes as far back as the book of Leviticus where God commands the Jews to leave the corners of their fields for the needy.
“When you reap the harvest of your land, moreover, you shall not reap to the very corners of your field nor gather the gleaning of your harvest; you are to leave them for the needy and the alien. I am the LORD your God”
OUR PURPOSE
At Friendship, we want to be a blessing to our community. With several members growing gardens every year, it is important to us that we take some of what is grown and offer it to our neighbors in need. For that reason, we have started Pe’ah Pantry.
REACH OUT
This is completely anonymous and open to anyone who asks. The pantry is open every Wednesday night and available by appointment throughout the week. Email kip@friendshipchurchtn.com to set up a time to come by and grab what you need or send a message to our Facebook page. Our goal is to help anyone we can who is in need as we have produce and other goods available.
